First time?

What should I expect?

Relevant teaching and amazing worship are part of each and every service at Highlife Church. We get our name from Matthew 10:39 where Jesus speaks about experiencing a higher kind of life so you can expect things to be done very differently around here!  Our services are typically under 90 minutes long and feature compelling messages that speak to adults on every level.

As you visit Highlife for the first time, you will notice our friendly Ushers and Greeters. This team is there to help you get oriented with our facility and to help make your initial visit as convenient as possible. You will find them very approachable and they will be ready to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

What do you have for kids?

At Highlife, kids come first! We currently offer an engaging program for under-teens and are developing a separate program for teenagers.

Once you come into the facility, our ushers will direct you to the Highlife Kids checking-in area.

To learn more about our children's programs, see our Highlife Kids page.

What do I do before service?

Ten minutes before the official service start time, there should be a multi-media presentation which would have an inspirational thrust. Soak in the atmosphere created during this time, to reflect, pray and prepare for the service. If you have any prayer requests or praise reports, be sure to ask an usher for a prayer request or testimony card.

How should I dress?

You are sure to feel comfortable however you choose to dress. Some people prefer to dress formally to church while others prefer a more relaxed mode of jeans or shorts. You will find our Highlife church community very diverse and welcoming.

Which service should I attend?

We currently have two services at Highlife Church with each service at a different time and having a different style. Our first service is from 9am - 10:30am called Highlife Urban. The praise and  worship has more of an R&B vibe to it and is very popular with the younger crowd. We also do more local traditional songs.  Pastor Carlton teaches in both services.

The second service is from 10:45 - 12:30 and we call this our contemporary service. It has more of a rock vibe in praise and worship and focuses more on families.  We encourage guests to try both services out to see which they prefer.  We currently have people who stay for both services!
